“Vergessen verhindern” is an interactive, physical system designed for people who frequently forget important items in everyday life, whether due to stress, overstimulation, or ADHD-related memory gaps. It focuses on that familiar moment at the door, when you pause and ask yourself, “Do I have everything?” or “Where did I put it?”

The board acts as the central interface of the system. Positioned directly next to the apartment door, it guides users through a customizable checklist of up to six essentials using a compact display and clear signals.
Once the key tag is connected to the board, the personal profile and its assigned essentials are loaded automatically. A slider allows users to review and confirm each item step by step. If something is missing, the app assists in locating it. Only when all essentials are ready does the system confirm: everything is set to go.

If a frequently used app is opened while the keychain hasn’t been returned to the board, a lock screen reminder appears. After three attempts, access remains restricted until the key is checked back in. The feature only activates when the user is at home, detected via Wi-Fi and keychain status. The intention isn’t control, but a subtle nudge to build a reliable habit.
The app allows users to search for their essentials directly from the home menu. Items are sorted by distance and can be rearranged individually. Essentials linked to the board automatically appear in the app, each connected to a tag that enables precise object tracking.
