Lighthouse explores the question of how we can reconnect a digitally connected world with the growing feeling of isolation in real life. While we are constantly linked through technology, many people experience increasing loneliness in their everyday environment. A paradox we identified as digital loneliness. In response, we deliberately placed something physical in public space: a modern reinterpretation of the traditional advertising column, designed as an anchor point for community beyond the screen.

Since our goal is to strengthen community and encourage people to spend less time on additional online platforms, we deliberately chose not to create a separate app. Instead, we integrate Lighthouse peoples existing messenger.
By adding Lighthouse as a contact, users can easily send new activities, announcements or ideas directly to the pillar. At the same time, because Lighthouse operates with AI support, users can also ask for suggestions or inspiration when planning new activities.
